Overview

Cê-tèbe Bî was founded durring the early 16th century in summer of the year 1512, by Gilêd Fyèlêtco. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Gilêd Fyèlêtco.

Cê-tèbe Bî was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the early 16th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Cê-tèbe Bî is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.

Cê-tèbe Bî is buildings are arranged arrounded a highly ordered system of restrictive worn bedrock streets which form triangular paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The town posesses a mighty albit amaturly crafted stone wall. It was built using querried stone blocks and posesses all of the standard defencive features, including a few watch towers. While it would last against a siege, the wall's outdated and simplistic construction method percludes the possability of Cê-tèbe Bî weathering a full scale bombardment durring a siege. Cê-tèbe Bî's budget focused millitary grade defenses has sufferd soem light damage, reducing its function a little in some spots, but could almsot certainly preform as expected... Though some of the worse spots could lead to the loss of defenders lives if attackers identified the weaknesses ahead of time.

A quick look in any direction shows Cê-tèbe Bî is filled with vices. There are many taverns, brothels are advertising their services on the streets, cardsharks are plying their illicit trade within public squairs, and every shop has at least three signs advertising various sales on goods. That alone wouldn’t be too noticeable, if it wasn’t just so omnipresent and overwhelmingly how the people of this town live. Or if the general public wasn’t so enthusiastically, openly, and merrily participating in these activities.

Cê-tèbe Bî has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Cê-tèbe Bî.

Cultural Notes

Cê-tèbe Bî's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by their massive, monolithic and 'blocky' appearance with a rigid geometric style. It was best known for its rough, unfinished surfaces, unusual shapes, heavy-looking materials, straight lines, and small windows. Modular elements were often used to form masses representing specific functional zones, grouped into a unified whole.

Due to the actions of local Kami, winter is long in Cê-tèbe Bî.

The Achaierai near Cê-tèbe Bî are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.

Cê-tèbe Bî's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves creating small tokens to channel Mysticism energies of tier 3 via chanting.

History

Cê-tèbe Bî is still bloodied by a recent violent conflict. A crushing bandit raid, a lost siege, getting caught at the periphery of a major battle, or some other calamity has inflicted severe damage on the place. Some communities may suffer a longer-term version of this, their youths lost in a grinding, endless battle against some perpetual threat.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century Hate Peak, an iconic vista located neare Cê-tèbe Bî, proved to be volcanic when the peak erupted. The eruption was isolated to the area around Cê-tèbe Bî, which was swallowed in ash, lava flows, and pyroclastic gasses. Cê-tèbe Bî lost 224 people, 364 livestock, and 52 buildings in the disaster. The event is forever remembered as the Day of Hate's Wrath.
